Fleadh Cheoil Drogheda 2019

It’s been so much fun, it’s been a great party atmosphere all week. The people of Drogheda totally enjoyed the event and it exceeded all expectations.

Between the jigs and the reels, organisers reckon it was the most successful one ever.

Record-breaking crowds of more than 600,000 people enjoyed the festivities over eight days, making the attendance the biggest in the history of trad music.

Talented and buoyant musicians, singers and dancers provided a fitting finale to a wonderful week.

And spectacular fireworks display finished the event by the banks of the River Boyne in Drogheda, Co Louth.
